Growing our Legacy

Border Bank’s roots run deep, beginning in Greenbush, Minnesota in 1935. Since its founding, Border Bank has achieved considerable growth and now has 11 locations in Minnesota and North Dakota, and approximately $875 million in assets.

As we have grown, so have our abilities to better serve our communities through our increased lending capacities. Our customers – whether they are business people or consumers – have benefited from this growth and are enjoying enhanced partnerships. We are proud to welcome the Fargo community into our family of genuine community banks.

Community Involvement

Our longevity and success as a business is measured by how well we help our communities succeed. Our focus has and always will be our customers.

We are here to serve our customers, to help our local businesses grow, and watch our communities prosper. We want a safe, healthy and happy community for our children and ourselves.

Our Culture Our Culture

Our customers are our friends.

It’s not about selling. It’s about mapping out steps to make dreams come true, solving a problem, being consumer advocates, or business partners. When we take the time to build relationships and genuinely help our customers, we are no longer simply their bankers. We are their trusted friends, their “go to” people, their partners for building security and prosperity.

Our CultureWhen it comes to Community Banking, we walk the talk.

We do it better than the rest. We understand our significant role in the community as an engine to spur economic growth. Our small businesses, economic development leaders and residents depend upon our financial leadership.

We also help build up our communities by contributing financial resources, rolling up our sleeves, and pitching in as volunteers. We’re in the trenches, shoulder to shoulder, with our friends.

Our CultureWe like where we work.

Longevity is common; and “teamwork” is not just a word. We’re family. We live it daily – helping each other get the job done, sharing the load, and sharing the victories. We value our compensation and benefit packages and enjoy the “family first” atmosphere and the flexibility it provides.

We understand the importance of innovation and change.

We’re growing in many ways. We understand the immense value we bring to our customers when we are innovative and enthusiastic, proactive agents for change.
